Pull for Conservation: Central

Get ready for a day of fun and excitement at our upcoming Pull for Conservation: Central trap shoot event! On Saturday, August 12, we invite you to join us at Prairie Grove Shotgun Sports for a thrilling day of clay shooting. Whether you're an experienced shooter or a beginner, we have something for everyone. Take part in our Two Shooter Scramble and Individual Shooter Clays for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights. Plus, we have a few special games and activities planned to keep the excitement going throughout the day. CFM’s ability to successfully achieve its mission depends on having an enthusiastic board with wide and varied backgrounds. Throughout its history, CFM has been fortunate to have outstanding volunteer leadership.

 The nominating committee is currently seeking candidates for the 2024 ballot as follows:

· Executive Committee (2)

· NWF Alternate Representative (1)

· Board of Directors (4)

CFM Photo Contest

Now Open

Now's your chance to show off your best pictures of Missouri's natural resources. This year's categories include Plants and Animals, Waterways, Landscapes, and Nature in Your Backyard. There are prizes for winners of each category, and a $250 prize for first place overall! Photos must be taken in the past year and in Missouri. Thank you to Land Learning Foundation for sponsoring this years contest.

2024 CFM Convention March 1-3

Save the date! CFM's 2024 Convention will be held March 1-3 at the Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, MO. We will continue to have our Banquet Dinner, Conservation Awards Ceremony, auctions, educational seminars, and more! Stay tuned for more details coming in the next few months.

Missouri Grasslands Summit:

CFM is partnering with MDC and NRCS to bring you the Missouri Grasslands Summit, a three day event dedicated to sharing knowledge and collaborating on grasslands management within the state. Mentored Dove Hunt

The Missouri Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, MDC, NRA and CFM are teaming up this fall to offer mentored dove hunting opportunities to interested hunters from around the state. The mentored hunts are available to all Missourians that are of legal age to hunt, with preference given to those who have never hunted before.
