Felton’s Site F in San Francisco at Pier 94 hosted collaborative and engaging events this summer. Two prominent Bay Area artists sat down with Felton President and CEO Al Gilbert to talk about art, music, and mental health awareness.
Singer-songwriter, GRAMMY® certified producer, and award-winning filmmaker Dame Drummer spoke about his documentary ‘Black Daddy: The Movie’ about Black men experiencing fatherhood in America. Also in conversation was San Francisco native rapper Gunna Goes Global, who joined Mr. Gilbert in a conversation about mental health and suicide awareness.
In addition to the lively discussions, Bay Area barber and owner of LUXGROOM, Notch Taplett, gave residents at Site F haircuts and grooming services, giving them a new look that boosted their confidence and self-esteem. Delicious pastries were provided by Gregory’s Gourmet Desserts.
