Barbara Marino attends Camp Newman Advisory Board Retreat
WRS Board member and Treasurer Barbara Merino, WRJ PD liaison to Camp Newman, attended the Camp Newman Advisory Board Retreat. Her experience was profiled in an article in the WRJ PD Chai News.
Barbara described her time at the retreat.
"The best word to describe the whole weekend experience is WOW! Spending Shabbat at any camp is always a moving experience, and this Friday night was no exception. The Board, along with a large number of guests, joined the rest of camp for Shabbat Services outside at the Beit Tefilah. It was so moving to pray so earnestly with the young and young at heart in our space which overlooks the lower camp. Wow, so much ruach!"
