Learning Opportunity for Library

Leaders and Managers

The Partnership's Education Institute is back with a new webinar for library leaders and managers!

In this webinar titled Elevate Your Approach: Coaching Strategies for Transforming Challenging Conversations, you will learn how to navigate difficult conversations, like addressing conflicts or managing sensitive topics, with finesse and empathy. Discover the power and effectiveness of taking a "coach approach" to focus on empowerment of the human heart. Building upon concepts such as powerful questioning, active listening and engagement, workshop participants will have the opportunity to elevate their learning through interactive activities and practice conversations with their peers.

Susan Cleyle, a Certified Professional Coach, will be facilitating the webinar. Before gaining her Executive Coach certification, Susan acquired her Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies. She has spent more than three decades in various administrative and executive positions.

The webinar takes place on September 25 from 12:30pm to 2:30pm ET (10:30am to 12:30pm CST). The cost is $110 for members and $145 for non-members. SLA members qualify for the member rate.
