We had a wonderful celebration this Sunday, and we are grateful to everyone who took part!
We dedicated our new banner, created especially to commemorate our 100th Anniversary. As you can see, it's the front doors of the church!

It was a delight to welcome back Pr. Rebecca Lord-Phillips as our presider for the day. We are grateful to her for taking the opportunity to be with us! |

It was a joy to bless Dr. Olga-Maria Cruz on her way to internship, which is part of her journey to ordained ministry. We will miss her ministry with WELCM, but we are excited for where the Holy Spirit is leading her next! |
|
After worship, we had a great time in fellowship over food.
We are thankful to everyone who set up, brought treats, and cleaned up, making this time together possible!

Summer Book Study
This summer, Grace is hosting a book study centered on "The Color of Compromise" by Jemar Tisby.
We will meet for 2 more weeks, on Wednesdays in July and early August, at 12pm and 6pm.
August 2 - Ch. 8-9
August 9 - Ch. 10-11

Family Promise Hosting Week - August 13-20
Grace will be hosting Family Promise again soon! We'd love to have you join us in welcoming our guest families and making sure they have good meals and a comfortable place to stay with us.
To take part in this week, please click HERE. We have roles for everyone - setup, making dinner, spending time socializing, sleeping, and resetting!
Our Youth had an excellent time hosting dinner during our June week - this is a volunteer opportunity for all ages, families, and friends!

We are exploring the opportunity to reinstate a quilting group at Grace! We need your input to determine what interest there may be, what the focus could be, and when to meet.

Centennial Temple Talks
As a part of Grace's 100th Anniversary Celebration, we will share a Temple Talk highlighting Grace's history through the decades on the first Sunday of each month, from March through December.

Members of Grace donated a 180.3 pounds of food and supplies in the month of July!
Biggest needs this week at HOPE:
Canned Vegetables, Cereal, Condiments, Laundry Detergent, Diapers Size 4, 5 & 6, Cleaning Supplies and Hygiene Products
You can drop items off in the bin located outside the church offices and a volunteer will take them over to HOPE. Please only place non-perishable items in the bin!

The Sanctuary Candle for the month of August is given by Kathy and John Taylerson in memory of Kathy's dad, John Heckert.
The Altar Flowers for August 6 are given by Dawn and Ron Hartman in honor of Jeff and Linda Ranges wedding anniversary.

Your gifts to Grace allow our ministry to happen! You can give in several ways:
- Give via the offering plate in worship
