We inspire families, individuals, and communities to overcome the disease of addiction by creating real, long-term solutions!

When one takes action for others, one's
own suffering is transformed into the
energy that can keep one moving forward; a light of hope illuminating a new tomorrow
for oneself and others is kindled.

Moving Forward with Hope and Love
Momentum is a great word! It assumes forward motion and has a truly positive connotation. It is a word we use to describe things like a moving locomotive, a falling object or a shooting star. Momentum is a product of mass and velocity. It is a quantity possessing magnitude and direction. However, the scientific definition of momentum does not include the words hope and love.
TriCircle has been gaining momentum since its inception. With vision and clarity of purpose in the forefront and hope and love in our hearts, we have expanded our offerings and touched the lives of many. We have come far, and yet we have a long way to go before we reach full implementation. Like any growing organization, the journey thus far has been a roller coaster of ups and downs. Evolution is a great teacher. As we approach the end of another year, we reflect on our many accomplishments and look forward to further growth in the months and years to come.
TriCircle has recently been featured in the news on Fox61, in The Record Journal and Wallingford Magazine. On November 29, the finalists for the ImpaCT Award, sponsored by Fox61, will announce the winner of "The Unsung Hero Award" at a black tie dinner at the Hartford Marriott. Even as a finalist, I am humbled to have been nominated.
Our annual TriCircle Gala is coming right up on Sunday, October 22, from 10:00-1:00 pm at the Wallingford Elks Lodge. We will gather to celebrate TriCircle's determination, motivation, gratitude and perseverance...to focus on the connections we have made, the hope we have inspired, the lives we have touched and the momentum we have gained.
Our intention going forward is to acquire a mixed use property and to fully establish TriCircle's long range plan. Phase three will require a great deal of financial support, and while the plan involves many ways in which the organization can self sustain, the bricks and mortar will be acquired through our ever growing number of strategic alliances, meaningful relationships, philanthropy and continued connectivity to many varied resources. This kind of evolution takes a village. It takes focused attention, intention and inspired action on the part of many. A leap of faith, a burning desire to find solutions, creative and innovative thinking, intensity, passion and vision will converge to keep our plan alive.
We possess magnitude and direction; we are a product of mass and velocity; we inspire hope and are propelled forward by the energy of love. Our mission is vital and needs to continue unceasingly until we see TriCircle reach full implementation.

Our October Spotlight
Melissa
Gionfriddo
"Tesoro Mio"
|
|
|
|
When she was a little girl, Melissa Gionfriddo's grandfather called her "Tesoro Mio", my treasure. He sensed some things about Melissa; she was somehow gifted...he could clearly see her creativity, talent and passion.
Melissa, who owns and operates a unique shop at 763 Hanover Road in Meriden called Tesoro Artisan Gift Boutique & Gallery, has recently joined TriCircle as an amazing and unstoppable volunteer. Her experience in retail, her creativity, her propensity toward the artistic and her major in marketing, to top it off, has positioned her to be a great help as TriCircle moves forward and evolves. Asked how she came to be involved with the mission and message of TriCircle, Melissa shared that she has seen the devastating toll the disease of addiction takes on friends and families, and she wants to be part of the solution.
An artisan herself, she truly appreciates the work of others. Her vision comes alive in her shop. Tesoro Artisan Gift Boutique & Gallery possesses an ever changing environment that offers new surprises, promotes new artists, takes on new lines and always looks for unique ideas and artistic concepts to feature.
Melissa would love to create an art studio within her shop where she would invite artists and artisans to come and have space to work any time they would like. Her place would be alive and vibrant, where customers could watch the magic happen right before their eyes! A woman fueled by passion and a love for art, Melissa makes everything around her more beautiful and exciting.
We are extremely happy to welcome Melissa, along with her gifts, talents, passion and vision to the TriCircle family!
If you want to help, TriCircle needs you, too. Please contact Ana to become a volunteer!
