Signs and Wonders: A Beginner's Guide to the Miracles of Jesus
Sundays ~ 9:30 AM
Rm. 31 of Education Bldg. or by Zoom link here
Meeting ID: 878 4884 3240 Password: 510649
Amy Jill Levine points out in this chapter, "A Two-Stage Miracle: Seeing Again" is only recorded in the Gospel of Mark and is the only miracle in which Jesus has to take action two times in order to complete the healing. She proposes that Mark used this miracle as a transition from Jesus' crowd-pleasing ministry of teaching, healing, and feeding to understanding Jesus' passion, crucifixion, and resurrection ministry in Jerusalem. This week's session seeks to help disciples more clearly understand the purpose of Jesus' two-stage miracle.
"Pouring into Our Parents" (POP)
Sundays ~ 9:30 AM ~ 2nd floor of the Christian Education Bldg.

This class, Pouring into Our Parents (POP), meets at 9:30 AM in the Library on the second floor of the Christian Education building. The class will begin with a series on what a gospel-centered parent looks like. Discussions and readings hit on family codes, discipline, trust, times of suffering, hope, and grace.
We extend the love of God (Outreach/Parishioner Support)

An Offering of Contemplative Outreach of Pensacola
"WALKING EACH OTHER HOME"
Saturday, June 3 ~ 10:00 AM - Noon
Christ Church Prayer Room & Parish Hall
You are invited to attend this special in-person, indoor contemplative event — a time to gather for Centering Prayer, a time to dedicate the Carol Dianne Lewis Library at Christ Church and then to “walk” the labyrinth of the Episcopal Diocese. The Centering Prayer Library is named in honor of Carol Dianne Lewis (1945-2018), an active member of Christ Church who established this library collection in 2010. Her energy and dedication to Centering Prayer initiated the call to others in the contemplative community that resulted in the formation of Contemplative Outreach Northwest Florida/Pensacola. She led as Chapter Coordinator until she was called home. Her collection now resides in the Christ Church Prayer Room and is available to anyone. Carol taught us that we are all just walking each other home, praying for and loving one another. Walking a labyrinth serves as a metaphor for one’s own spiritual journey. Patti Bodenhamer, spiritual director and Veriditas certified labyrinth facilitator, will teach a brief history of the labyrinth and then prepare us for a meditative walk. Register early at centeringprayerpensacola.com. Space is limited.

ALTAR FLOWER DEDICATIONS
Each week our worship service is enhanced with beautiful fresh flowers. After the Sunday services, the altar flower arrangements are reworked into smaller arrangements. These arrangements are delivered to members of our parish family that are unable to attend a Sunday service. The altar flowers are a memorial, a thanksgiving for an anniversary, a birthday, a new birth, or a thanksgiving for God's blessings. The donation is listed in the weekly bulletin. Forms to participate in this ministry are available here and on the information table in the Parish Office.
