FLYING FINISH

Despite a four-hour rain delay, the 108th edition of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing concluded in storybook fashion earlier this week as an estimated 5.344 million viewers watched a thrilling duel between Josef Newgarden and Pato O’Ward at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. On the last lap, Newgarden edged O’Ward to take the checkered flag and win his second consecutive Indianapolis 500.

Two of America’s most famous landowners, Sierra Pacific Windows and Four Sixes Ranch Beef, were among the sponsors of the No. 23 car, which was piloted by the 2014 Indianapolis 500 champion, Ryan Hunter-Reay (right), for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing / Cusick Motorsports.
