Country singer Jordan Davis to perform free pregame concert Oct. 24 at WKU
WKU Athletics announced that award-winning country singer and songwriter Jordan Davis will perform a free, pregame concert on the Lower South Lawn tailgate area prior to the Hilltoppers' home football game vs. Liberty on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

The one-hour concert will begin at 5 p.m. with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. South Lawn will open at 4 p.m. for the concert festivities and space is available on a first-come basis.

Davis has had four songs reach No. 1 on the US Country Airplay charts, including CMA Awards 2022 Song of the Year "Buy Dirt." In addition, "Singles You Up," "Slow Dance In A Parking Lot" and "What My World Spins Around" have also reached the top spot. His 2023 release of "Next Thing You Know" has quickly risen the charts into the Top 5.

Fans are encouraged to wear black on Oct. 24, as Hilltopper Football will sport its black uniforms for a nationally-televised blackout.
