FLORIDA LIONS EYE BANK ATTENDS THE 98th MD35 CONVENTION

Florida Lions Eye Bank attended the 98th Annual Multiple District Convention in

Orlando on May 4-7, 2023. Lions Club International Director Jeffrey Gans and his wife Ellyn visited from New Jersey for the occasion. Highlights of the weekend included a penguin-themed luncheon, tailgating-themed dinner, and the annual Run for Roses fundraiser benefiting the Florida Lions Foundation for the Blind.

Florida Lions Eye Bank hosted a Cinco de Mayo-themed hospitality room on Friday night, with margaritas and a lion-shaped pinata. During Saturday’s general session, executive director Elizabeth Fout updated convention attendees on the eye bank’s new building, scheduled to break ground in 2023. Florida Lions Eye Bank is grateful for the ongoing support of the Lions of MD-35.
