There is a growing concern about the occurrence of pharmaceuticals in water bodies and in drinking water.

Pharmaceuticals get into the water supply via human excretion and by drugs being flushed down the toilet.

Deborah Comella, Executive Director of Drug-Free Lee, will lead this fascinating discussion on our water, and how we can keep it drug-free.

Learn how Operation Medicine Cabinet, supported by the United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades County, is increasing awareness of the importance of disposing of unused and expired pharmaceuticals using Deterra System Disposal Bags, and what you can do to help.
