The town of Rock Hall has several events set to take place this spring, summer and fall. Although a tentative list that is subject to change, what follows below is an outline of our community's headlining public gatherings for the year to come.
Spring Triathlon – Saturday and Sunday, June 1-2. Kinetic Multisports is putting on the annual Olympic and Sprint Triathlons based at Rock Hall Harbor. The USA Triathlon-sanctioned event draws thousands to the area. For more information or to register, visit kineticmultisports.com.
Porch-Fest & Artist Stroll – Sunday, May 26 at 12:00 noon. The Rock Hall Village will be transformed into an artist stroll, with many talented Rock Hall artists presenting their work. Porches along Sharp Street and at Java Rock are also included. Learn more at rockhallmd.com.
Fourth of July Fireworks – Wednesday, July 3 at dusk. Fourth of July Parade – Thursday, July 4 at 10:00 a.m. For more information on Rock Hall's Independence Day events, visit rockhallmd.com.
Waterman's Day – Sunday, July 7 at 12:00 noon. Fun for the whole family, sponsored by the Kent County Waterman's Association. Activities include boat docking, anchor toss and dinghy race competitions, all happening at Rock Hall's Public Bulkhead.
Pirates & Wenches Weekend – Friday-Sunday, August 9-11. Presented by Main Street Rock Hall. Schedule of events, performers and activities forthcoming. For updates, visit rockhallpirates.com.
Fall Triathlon – Saturday and Sunday, September 28-29. Like its spring counterpart, the Rock Hall Fall Waterman's Long, Olympic and Sprint Triathlons are national events. Learn more at kineticmultisports.com.
FallFest – Saturday, October 5. FallFest attracts thousands of visitors from across the Eastern Seaboard, showcasing and celebrating our town's rich history and maritime heritage. Details for this year's fest have yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned at rockhallfallfest.org.
