President's Message

Hello RSFBPW Ladies and Guests:

Let’s Make a Splash at Our May Networking Luncheon!

Dear Inspiring Entrepreneurs and Mermaids,

I am absolutely thrilled to invite you to a delightful twist on our traditional May gathering. Get ready for our Poolside Networking Luncheon!

We will be meeting by the Shimmering Pool this month so you will want to prepare your mermaid skin for the sun by wearing sunscreen, scarves and hats. In May we always honor Betty Potter Englishbee by wearing a scarf to the meeting. Betty was a 30-year member and was actively involved on our board for 28 years. She was the heart of our networking organization for years and always wore a scarf to our meetings.

MARK MAY 16th, FROM 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM by the shimmering pool, which is to the right of the front entrance.

This month, let’s dive deep into the sea of opportunities together. Imagine each of us donning a sun hat and a colorful scarf, embodying the spirit of mermaids who navigate vast oceans. I invite you to bring your vibrant ideas and entrepreneurial spirit with you as you mingle, connect, and create ripples of possibility for your business and your future.

I also love this fun quote, "The ocean stirs the heart, inspires the imagination and brings eternal joy to the soul." - Robert Wyland

While we network at lunch and we bask in the sunshine and share our aspirations, let's remember to explore the depths of our potential collaborations and friendships. I believe in making every connection count, and what better way to do this than surrounded by fellow mermaids running their own businesses?

Come prepared for an afternoon filled with inspiration, and the warm glow of both the sun and the speaker while we connect with others. We will announce our Charity for 2024. When you donate a basket, you also will get additional tickets to place in the Raffle bags too. Your baskets should be filled with items worthy of gifting to others to help us raise money for our charity.

Warmly,

Jill Harris

Shout-Outs and Testimonials

We may run out of time at our meetings to share our testimonials for each other's services, products, and community announcements. We encourage you to write your praise and mail an email or note to the member who you want to applaud. Send your friends a special email sharing your testimonial about the member you are highlighting. Post your Shout-Out on our RSFBPW Facebook page and on your own FB page.

We offer Shout-outs and testimonial time at the end of many of our meetings, however it depends on the time left after our speaker has concluded their presentation. We do not offer testimonial time at our November and December meetings because of the length of the program. We encourage you to pass out your information, flyers, handouts and community announcements during the open networking time which is between 11:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

You may also want to use your 20 second commercial time during the meeting to share your business event or announcement with the group and invite interested members to pick up a flyer with more details in the back of the room. Thanks for cheerfully working with us!
