GOOD FRIDAY AND EASTER SUNDAY

Good Friday, April 18

6:00 p.m. Chapel

A Service of Lamentation as we face the death of Jesus on the cross, come to be near him in his suffering, lament the world’s brokenness and the fragmentation of our lives,

and affirm with confidence that God’s mercy still is over all.

Grace Gift Delivery Volunteers Needed Easter

Pick up: after 11:00 a.m, Easter Worship | Deliver on Easter or Monday

Easter Flowers & Grace Gifts are ready to be shared with our community! Following 11:00 a.m. Easter Worship, you’re invited to pick up a potted flowering plant (or two!) and help deliver joy to someone’s doorstep. Here’s how it works: Come to the front of the Sanctuary after the Postlude, choose a White Card (or a few!) with the name and address of a recipient, pick up a potted plant(s) and deliver them Sunday or Monday. Cards are organized by zip code, so you can select deliveries close to home. Take time to enjoy a front porch visit and a chat. Questions? Email Linda. Spread some springtime beauty, one Grace Gift at a Time.

Forum: Waterwise/Firewise/Wildlife Gardening

Sunday, 4/27 at 9:15 a.m. | Standish Room

Remembering the Marshall Fire, the California fires and all the wildfires across the county, join the Climate Action Team for a forum on Living with Climate Change: Waterwise/ Firewise / Wildlife Gardening. Did you know that often 50%+ of a city’s drinking water goes to landscaping, and half of this is often wasted? This well-illustrated forum shows how to make a waterwise landscape that will attract charismatic critters, repel rascals and make it firewise and fun too.
