This month's artist, Michael Tomasso, is a retired Social Studies teacher at Pottsgrove HS and resides in Harleysville. He is a self- taught artist who has been inspired by the works of Monet, Turner, Whistler, Sargent and the contemporary realist Jamie Wyeth.
He takes his artistic influence from the surrounding landscape of rural Western Montgomery County -- especially Lower Salford. His travels have also played a major influence on his work--especially Venice, Italy.
