Spring time means

time for seasonal home maintenance!

What to Clean 

• Clean all window and door screens.
• Soft-wash windows and siding.
• Remove leaves and debris from gutters and downspouts.
• Vacuum lint from back of the dryer, dryer vent opening, and dryer vent hose.

What to Replace

• Change your air-conditioner filter.
• Replace the batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

What to Check

• Inspect sink, shower, and bath caulking for deterioration.
• Check roofing for any possible leaks and shingles that may have become missing, loose, or damaged through the winter.
• Extend downspouts 6 to 10 feet away from house.

What to Consult A Professional About

• Refinish the deck (if needed).
• Have a professional inspect and pump the septic tank (if needed).
