MAY 2024

Principal Message

May Brings Exciting Things

May is filled with exciting yet bittersweet milestones. Sadly, our 5th graders will soon be moving across town to WEBB Middle School. They will tour their 6th-grade halls and orient themselves to that building. Incoming 3rd graders will tour our building as well. The change and the emotions that come with it at this time of year are certainly higher.

May 6-10 is Teacher Appreciation Week, so if you haven’t already, be sure to thank your child’s teachers and any other staff member who has touched your child's life. A flier with ways you can participate and support our awesome staff is coming home. As former teachers ourselves, any acts of kindness or words of gratitude can make a teacher’s entire year.

State testing has come and gone, and many opportunities to learn outdoors are upon us. The summer sun is peeking through and washing away the drear of April. Classes across PRI will be exploring Devil’s Lake, Mirror Lake, the Hartje Center, and more to take full advantage of the beautiful world around us!

Yours in education,

Mr. Beyer and Mr. Frey
