From the Principal

Peter Baye, from King of Kings Northwest, provided our chapel message this week. Following Jesus' resurrection and ascension, the disciples were without help, and God the Holy Spirit came to help them in their faith and gospel proclamation. As described in Acts 2, the disciples gathered together when suddenly, a sound came like a rushing wind, and tongues of fire rested upon each of them. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different languages, enabling them to communicate the gospel effectively to people from various nations in Jerusalem at that time. Thus, God demonstrated His continued presence and equipped believers to spread the message of Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit continues to work within us Christians by bestowing faith, power, and the fruit of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit gifts us faith, enabling us to trust in God and His promises and the power to live our faith boldly and minister effectively. The Holy Spirit's presence is also demonstrated in our lives by the fruit we produce—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—qualities that reflect the character of Christ and are evidence of lives transformed by the gospel. Praise God for His continued work through the Holy Spirit, equipping and enabling us to live out our faith authentically and bear witness to the transforming power of God's love in the world!

In His service,

Mr. Domsch
