Eureka! Collection

Eureka Collections

More on Eureka!

The Eureka! Collection includes non-traditional library materials that inspire exploration through hands-on activities.

Why Eureka?

The ancient Greek scholar Archimedes reportedly exclaimed Eureka! (meaning “I found it”) after he had stepped into a bath one day and realized that the volume of displaced water must be equal to the volume of what was submerged. Borrow items from this collection and have your own Eureka moments!
