.....We are looking forward to knowing and sharing the joy of salvation through Jesus Christ with everyone who comes to join us for Vacation Bible School on June 24-28! We could still use lots of help to make this a great week where we can shine Jesus' light!

See Below for some of the areas where we could still use help.

• Bible Adventures Co-Leader - You will receive a leader's guide that lays out exactly what to do and say. You will have a group of 7 -14 children rotate to your station with their crew leaders for a 20 minute session with you. You will give the same lesson 4 times throughout the morning.
• Snacks - Prep and assemble snacks for 40 - 60 kids and clean up daily.
• Decorations - Can you help by looking through your closets for any space related items you may have, ex. old party decorations with stars on them, child’s old space project with planets, sphere decorations that could be turned into a planet or an old space halloween costume?
• Or, maybe you are feeling talented and could make something like any of the pictures here!
• Picnic Crew - Help plan and set up, serve, clean up for picnic on Friday starts at 12:00. It could be hotdog lunch or pizza lunch.

We need your input! Please take a few minutes and share your favorite hymns and/or contemporary pieces with us through our survey. Over the summer your music ministry team will strive to include as many of these as we can throughout our worship services. You won’t want to miss a single Sunday in case your favorite piece is selected!

Exciting Changes Ahead!

.....We already started work on the Restroom Renovation Project! We have begun with the two restrooms off of the Narthex. These two restrooms will be out of service for three to four weeks. Please use the Restrooms off of the Fellowship Hall during this part of the project. We will be installing new solid surface countertops, paint, ceramic floor tile, plumbing fixtures, toilet accessories, etc.

.....ILC begins a new session of Dinner for 8 soon which will run from May-August. If you're unfamiliar with Dinner for 8, this is a "sharing the joy" ministry of ILC that looks to connect church family and community friends over a meal. The Dinner for 8 Leadership Team will assign hosts to organize a meal or two over the course of the late spring and early summer for some good fellowship while enjoying some good food! 

.....Note: if you have participated in the most recent session (January-March) of Dinner for 8, you are automatically signed up for this round unless you let us know otherwise. The assigned hosts will be contacting you to check your schedules as to when your group can get together. If you have not participated in Dinner for 8, have missed the most recent session, or would like to invite a neighbor or friend to a dinner, please let Ken VanDongen or Pastor Kevin know and we will connect you!
