Investing $3.42 Million for Children and Youth in Santa Fe

The City is investing $3.4 million in funding for safety net and navigation services for several nonprofit agency partners to support children and youth in Santa Fe over the next three years. The funding prioritizes goal areas identified in the Children and Youth Commission’s Strategic Plan to address youth wellness, safety and basic needs, and early childhood and supplemental education, as well as the selected non-profits' efforts to provide navigation services via the joint City-County CONNECT program.

New Recreation Equipment

We recently acquired variety of new pieces of workout equipment at Fort Marcy, Salvador Perez, and GCCC! The upgrades include treadmills, ellipticals, stair-steppers, rowers, recumbent bikes, weight benches, TRX systems, and more – stop by and give them a try!

Movies in the Park Round 2

We had tons of fun at our second free movie night of the summer at Villa Linda Park on this past Friday! We hope you all can join us for our next double-feature movie showing on Friday, August 4, at Swan Park. We'll be screening Vivo (PG) at 6 p.m. and Elvis (PG-13) at 8 p.m.

Santa Fe Wins Again

Santa Fe has once again received readers' choice top rankings for best cities in the U.S., AND best cities in the world!


The results of Travel + Leisure Magazine's World's Best Awards were released earlier this week, and Santa Fe placed #2 out of 15 for the survey respondents' favorite US cities. We were also ranked #21 of the top 25 cities around the world.


We already knew Santa Fe was the best, and this is just more proof. Hip hip, hooray for our city on the receipt of these well-deserved accolades!

Disability Pride Month Flag Raising & Proclamation Reading

Community members are invited to join Mayor Alan Webber, City staff, and representatives from the Mayor's Committee on Disability for a flag-raising and proclamation reading in honor of Disability Pride Month (celebrated nationally in July). The event will be held on Tuesday, July 18, at 11:30 a.m. outside of the front doors of City Hall at 200 Lincoln Ave.
