Prom season is here!

We are excited for our dresses to be worn and enjoyed! We love all of the photos we are seeing on social media and being shared with us of our dresses bringing smiles to high school students.
Remember, after you wear the dress, donate your dress back - or for the first time - to Abby's Closet. We are already gathering donations for the 2025 Prom Dress Giveaway and need formal dresses and fancy shoes (in excellent condition only please).

Join our amazing 2024-25 Student Advisory Board - Applications still being accepted!

Each year we have the privilege to work with an amazing group of young women from high schools in Oregon and Washington who are part of our Student Advisory Board. This group meets regularly to assist Abby's Closet with public relations and fundraising efforts. The SAB also brings energy and fun to our annual Prom Dress Giveaway and acts in an advisory capacity to the Abby’s Closet Board of Directors.

McMenamins West Linn Pub Friends & Family Night a hit

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us by attending our first McMenamins Friends & Family night last month at McMenamins West Linn Pub. The event was a huge success and we are grateful for the support of McMenamins and specifically the West Linn Pub! Watch our website for other events to support us in the future.
Dreams Scholarship winner returns as Giveaway photographer

We were delighted to welcome former Dreams Scholarship winner Veranika Pahodzina as a photographer at our Prom Dress Giveaway this year. Veranika, a 2022 Dreams winner who attended Parkrose High School, said she jumped at the chance to contribute her photography skills to our organization. "It was a wonderfully vibrant and enjoyable experience! My inspiration for media comes from my grandmother, who showed me the value of capturing every valuable moment to save it for ages." For Veranika, photography is her passion, and a skill she continues to work on while attending nursing school. "Balancing academic commitments with personal interests can be challenging," she said. "However taking the chances I have like through Abby's Closet, keeps me motivated to capture life's unique moments. JOIN OUR TEAM: We're looking for a part-time administrative assistant

We are currently hiring a paid part-time administrative assistant who can help run the nuts and bolts of Abby's Closet. This paid position is about 10 hours a week and mostly remote, but hours vary monthly (busiest September through April).
