I recently read a book about the history of Kendall Square in Cambridge, MA. When I attended MIT I always wondered why Kendall Square was so desolate and deserted even though it seemed like a good location, close to Boston, with public transportation and developable land. I've watched as Kendall has become an innovation hub and some of the most desirable commercial real estate in metro Boston and wondered how. This book described the history and put my observations in historical and modern context. If you ever wondered about Kendall Square because of your own observations or have wondered what combination of investments, policy and serendipity can create a center of successful innovation then I'd suggest you read Where Futures Converge by Robert Buderi.

Successful onboarding of your SaaS customers is critical to a strong and ongoing relationship with your customers. Lot's of good information on the topic below.

A successful onboarding process is critical to having a long-term successful customer relationship. These r esources from Hubspot include an overall process, templates, suggested metrics and best practices for onboarding. I think you'll find them useful in setting up or improving your Saas customer onboarding process.

Openview Partners has a guide to customer onboarding in a PLG (Product Led Growth) environment. This guide focuses a lot on speed, reducing friction and using self-service in the onboarding process.

Although I'm not aware of any saas onboarding process that uses a digital human yet, it's clear from this HBR article about digital human technology and applications that the concept is very applicable. It's certainly interesting to think about and I'm sure we'll see it soon in some application areas.
