Annual Award Nominations

The Knox County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 107th Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 4th, 2023, at Highland Woods Community Center. The focus of the night will be to recognize individuals, businesses, and organizations that make our community special.

The Annual Awards Nominations are available now! We encourage you to nominate an individual, organization, or business that you feel best exemplifies the award categories.

Nomination(s) must be in the Chamber office by March 28th, 2023.

New Hires and Promotions

Brody Patrick is the Knox County Chamber's new Marketing and Events Manager.

Brody has had several years of experience with event planning and marketing, with a focus on social media.

Brody, a born and raised Vincennes native, has "always had a soft spot for locally owned businesses" and says the favorite part of her job is "creating relationships with local business owners, and being able to become a useful resource."

Total Resource Campaign

The Knox County Chamber's Total Resource Campaign is in full swing!

The TRC will provide businesses, both large and small, with opportunities to reach diversified customer groups and grow their businesses. Member businesses will see a return on their investment and will be able to determine which options best suit their business needs.

Our 2023-24 TRC chair, and owner of Peafections, Becky Stenger, says "As a small business owner, and part of the regional business community, I believe in the mission of our Chamber of Commerce and the avenues which they seek to grow not only our regional business environment, but each individual business."

Vincennes Historical Half Marathon

April 22nd | Patrick Henry Square

Explore Indiana's first city while you run through its most historic landmarks, during the 2nd annual Vincennes Historical Half Marathon.

Registration is available for the Half Marathon, the 5k, and the Kids Fun Run. Following the races, there will be an after-race block party to celebrate!

2024 Eclipse

The one-year countdown to the 2024 Eclipse is starting April 8th, 2023!

Vincennes is on the line of totality, offering the longest darkness in Indiana at 4 minutes and 4.9 seconds, and eclipse chasers are expected to converge at towns along the line totality.

The VU Community will come together to make a difference that carries forward each day. The BLAZERS GIVE Fund is being established on this day to support the greatest needs of student scholarships and academic development.
