The Garden won 11 first places, 9 second places and 5 third places in the fruit and vegetable section of the Flower and Garden competition, as well as placing first and second in the community garden categories. Well done to all involved! To visit one of Cumberland’s community gardens or to find out more information, visit www.cumberland.nsw.gov.au/community-gardens

Iftar Celebrations

Council hosted its 2024 Iftar Celebration Dinner at the Granville Centre recently. The evening was held to mark the tradition of breaking fast during the holy month of Ramadan. It was lovely to host the event for the community, with people from different backgrounds and faiths including religious leaders, State MPs and community members coming together in unity and tradition.
