RI Slave History Medallions
We’re informing the public about RI’s role in the business of slavery through an interactive art piece, our bronze medallions with QR technology to give the historical significance of the site where they stand.

You can see our Resolution from the RI General Assembly to place 25 medallions in Colonial towns to help face the fact of their involvement in slavery and to look at the societal implications today.
