Threatened UPS Strike plus Correcting Shipping Address for Purchase Requisitions

There is the potential for a UPS strike when their current contract ends on July 31, 2023. Please pre-plan your supply orders to minimize potential delivery delays.

Current issue with Amazon and UPS deliveries: Packages have been left in the L Building lobby.

Please look at your shipping labels. Many are incomplete. Please check your personal profiles in the Ariba system to be sure your shipping address is clear and complete, including the building, floor and room number.

Distinguished Faculty of the Month: To recognize faculty service to the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine community, please submit your nominations here. All school faculty are eligible for nominations.

Distinguished Staff of the Month: To recognize staff who provide exceptional commitment and service to the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine community, please submit your nominations here. All school and BMC staff who directly support the academic, teaching and research missions of the school, (e.g., coordination of clerkship rotations) are eligible.

Submit your nominations by Friday, July 14.

Stephen Wilson, MD, MPH, Elected as Board Member of American Board of Family Medicine

Wilson was recognized for his teaching, mentoring, research and scholarship.

The Committee on Committees is seeking Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine faculty members interested in serving on a committee or looking to renew their term. If interested, please complete the committee preference survey.
