In this 2015 movie, a talking bear named Paddington travels to London after the destruction of his home in Peru, where a kindly family takes him in. However, a museum taxidermist is determined to make a trophy out of him.

 

This movie is rated PG and has a 95-minute run time. 

The movie will start at 11; Staff will dim the lights, and mats and chairs will be out for your comfort. While registration is not required, 

An adult MUST accompany children under the age of 11.

Merrimack Public Library Board of Trustees


The Merrimack Public Library Board of Trustees is seeking a Merrimack resident to fill a one-year term on the Board. To apply for this position, please submit a letter of interest and qualifications to Town Manager Paul Micali at pmicali@merrimacknh.gov. To qualify, you must be a registered voter in Merrimack. The candidate’s application materials will be forwarded to the Trustee Chair for Board review. Candidates completing an open term are appointed by the Town Council on the Trustees’ recommendation.

Resident Fast Facts


The Friends of the Merrimack Public Library (FMPL) meeting minutes from their April 17th meeting (opens a PDF) are now available on our website. FMPL is a group of volunteers interested in supporting, promoting, and enhancing the services provided by our town library. FMPL is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Member contributions are tax deductible and entitle you to attend exclusive pre-sale book sales throughout the membership term.


FMPL provides Merrimack residents with "Books for Babies" gifts, donations to local charities on behalf of those who collectively meet Summer Reading Challenge goals, furnishes Little Free Libraries in our Town parks, runs Book Sales, and sponsors an array of educational and entertaining events. On Saturday, June 3rd, the Merrimack Rotary will host an Electronics Recycling Fundraiser from 8:00am to 12:00pm at the Merrimack Town Hall. Electronics, used or unused, broken or working, will be accepted, and proceeds will support scholarships and community projects.
