Early Career Toronto | Boards 101: Empowering Your Leadership Potential Through Governance

Serving on a board (non-profit, family, or corporate) provides opportunities to apply your experience, skills, and financial education in a new setting, develop your brand and expand your network. Participate in an interactive workshop and learn about the key roles and responsibilities of a board member through real-world examples and frameworks.

Bring your questions as you begin gathering the knowledge and confidence to prepare for that first step of joining a board. Following the discussion, share your thoughts with colleagues as you network over refreshments and appetizers.

Rebecca specializes in governance, strategic planning, and leadership development. She has worked with dozens of Boards and senior management teams in the private, not-for-profit, and public sectors across Canada. A natural teacher, Rebecca runs Governance workshops that have welcomed participants from Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, California, Spain, and New Zealand.
