El Dorado Air District EV & EVSE Incentives
The El Dorado Air District has a $599 “Drive Clean” incentive for El Dorado County residents who buy an EV (pre-approval is required) and they are developing a $300 “CHARGE” incentive for home EVSE.

New Updates, Regulations, and Requirements
Congress to Vote on Ending EV Mandates
The House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on H.R. 1435, a bill that would block the EPA from issuing waivers to states that are banning ICE vehicles.

  • contractors, universities, and school districts, to participate in a regulatory training webinar on the requirements of Clean Truck Check, also known as Heavy-Duty Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance (HD I/M). Vehicle owners, operators, fleet managers, technicians, maintenance staff, and emission testers are recommended to participate.

Sacramento Clean Cities Sponsors Make The News
Fuel Cell Energy Launches Power & Hydrogen at Toyota in Long Beach
Fuel Cell Energy (FCE) has begun operating their “Trigen” plant at the Toyota site at the Port of Long Beach. The FCE plant will generate 1,500kg/day of hydrogen, 1,400 gallons per day of water and 2.3MW of electricity, using renewable natural gas with a negative carbon Index.

Cummins Fuel Agnostic Engine
Cummins has developed a “Fuel Agnostic” engine that will meet the most stringent EPA Tier 5 requirements (90% NOx reduction to 0.04g/kW and 75% PM reduction to 0.005/kW from current standards).. The base engine is the same for all fuels. The cylinder heads and fuel systems change depending on the fuel being used.
