Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S. Too much sun can cause skin cancer. Spending time outside is a great way to be physically active, reduce stress, and get vitamin D. You can work and play outside without raising your skin cancer risk by protecting your skin from the sun.

Most skin cancers are caused by too much exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. Protection from UV rays is important all year, not just during the summer. UV rays can reach you on cloudy and cool days, and they reflect off of surfaces like water, cement, sand, and snow.

In the continental United States, UV rays tend to be strongest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daylight saving time (9 a.m. to 3 p.m. standard time).

Paul Clark Memorial

The Paul Clark Memorial patio under construction and nearing completion. Celebrate with us during our annual golf tournament and check out the patio this September.

Paul spent over 40 years in the elevator business; first at the Equity Co-op in Geraldine and then as the “grain guy” in Kershaw at the CHS Big Sky location. He loved his job and the people he worked with. He served on the MGEA board for many years and his leadership was respected far and wide.

Paul was an avid sports guy-from high school sports to officiating basketball to softball and bowling leagues, golf league, cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys and MSU Bobcats, and attending NFL games and NASCAR races.

We are looking forward to honoring Paul and invite you to join us in September. A huge thank you goes out to the Montana Grain Elevators Association, CHS Big Sky, Vance Bach, Shyann Griffin, and Connor and his crew for all their hard work!
