Dale Obrochta created a Balloon Show just for libraries! Come and see his inflatable creations. Friday on the Green is held at Breidert Green: 2 S. White Street. In the event of inclement weather, we will move to Meeting Rooms A&B in the Library, and priority will be given to Frankfort cardholders.

NASA revealed the James Webb Space Telescope's first full-color images on July 12, 2022. The telescope has been providing us with several images since that first reveal, and will continue to do so for the next 20 years of its life. Join us in the Library's meeting room to watch a 60-minute live panel discussion between Webb scientists focusing on the new "anniversary" image reveal. Webb is the largest, most complex, and most powerful telescope ever to orbit outer space! This is an official NASA Webb Space Telescope Community Engagement Event.

Bring the whole family and join us Saturday and Sunday July 8th and 9th for the 11th Annual Frankfort Bluegrass Festival in historic Frankfort, Illinois. Over 20 national and regional bands will perform on 4 stages including our new intimate workshop stage. Plus food and craft vendors, kids tent and activities, picker's tent and much more!

Come out to the MICA building at CD & ME on Friday, July 14, 2023 @ 6pm! What a great place to enjoy live music under the stars with your family, friends or perhaps alumni! Enjoy the Muzak Department, the Walk Ins & Beyond the Blonde! Cost is $35 or $40 day of the event. Reservations include all music, food by Gatto's Italian Restaurant & Bar, plus access to raffle prizes. Desserts by Nothing Bundt Cakes & the Creamery will be available for purchase with profits shared with the Foundation. This rain or shine event with free parking is for folks 21 and older with a cash bar. A table & reservations for 8 guests can be reserved for $400 but quantities are limited, so contact Executive Director Bob Kennedy at 815-462-2976 for info. Proceeds will help fund scholarships, grant requests for educational enhancements plus library improvements made on behalf of the students & teachers at Lincoln-Way Community H.S. District 210. Splash Park After-Hours Party NEW!

Kick off the summer season at the Splash Park after hours party. There will be an inflatable jump, games, pizza, cookies, and fun in the splash park.
