Introducing Corey Taylor, CEO of Peter Paul

On September 6th we will welcome Corey Taylor as Peter Paul’s new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Taylor joins us from Cristo Rey Richmond High School, where he served as Founding Principal and Chief Academic Officer.

Corey is committed to community engagement, development, diversity, equity, and inclusion. He sees and understands the full potential of Richmond's East End community.

Summer for Seniors

Our seniors closed out the summer with a fish fry cookout at Dorey Park. Oak St. Health was there to provide information on services for medicare patients. There were games, food, and plenty of smiles.

In Full Swing

The installation of the new walk-in freezer and refrigerator units is almost complete. We can't wait to put this equipment to full use. After these units are done, we will start work on replacing dilapidated furniture with 20 new tables and 250 chairs, and upgrade and replace a malfunctioning gymnasium partition.

Thank you again to the Mary Morton Parsons Foundation and our generous donors for this grant.

After School Academy

Our After School Academy starts September 5th. We can't wait to welcome our students, parents, and volunteers back for another successful school year.

We are hiring for lead teachers for our program. If you, or someone you know, has experience working with children and a passion for teaching, we encourage you to apply.

Summer Promise Academy Was Great

We have so many partners to thank for a great summer. We want to thank the Roslyn Retreat Center for hosting this year's Clare's Camp and making it possible to provide memorable and vital experiences to our kids. We want to thank R.E.A.L Girlz and Street Smartz Over Safety for engaging our young men and women by teaching them how to become advocates in their community. We also want to show our gratitude to SwimRVA, the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Richmond, Kings Dominion, our staff, and all our volunteers. See you all next summer!
