Holy Baptism
This Sunday, July 16, 10:30 AM
"We thank you, Father, for the water of Baptism. In it we are buried with Christ in his death. By it we share in his resurrection. Through it we are reborn by the Holy Spirit." (BCP p. 306) At this Sunday's 10:30 AM service, we will have the blessing of receiving a new member into the household of God. Giving added meaning to this sacred sacrament, the water that will be used for the baptism was brought from the Jordan River back to St. Michael's by last year's pilgrimage group. If you or a family member is interested in being baptized in the months ahead, please contact Rev. Matt at matt@stmikeschurch.com.

It's Time to Get Involved!
As you think about how you may be called to further participate in ministry at St. Michael's in the program year ahead, please prayerfully consider one or more of the following:
Daughters of the King (DOK), July 27, 6:00 PM
The mission of the Daughters of the King (DOK) is the extension of Christ's Kingdom through Prayer, Service, and Evangelism. On Thursday, July 27 at 6:00 PM in the downstairs Chapel, the DOK is holding a “no commitment” information session about the group and how its members support our St. Michael's community. Light refreshments will be served. For questions, please contact Regina Winters at rhwinters@gmail.com.
Acolytes & Donuts, August 20, 9:15 AM
Acolytes enhance the beauty, solemnity, and pageantry of our worship experience, and all ages are invited to participate. Our new acolyte leaders, Elena Zarecky and Sarah Wettemann, are eager to expand St. Mike's acolyte program, and they hope you will join them for donuts and information sharing on Sunday, August 20 at 9:15 in the Sanctuary. Questions? Contact Elena at elena.zarecky@gmail.com or Sarah at sarah.kay.wettemann@gmail.com.
Other Worship Participant
It takes a team of volunteers every Sunday to ensure our services flow smoothly, and there are several easy but important roles always needing to be filled. Can you be a Greeter, Usher, Chalice Bearer, or Coffee Hour Host once a month or even once every two months? CLICK HERE to volunteer in July and August, and be on the lookout for opportunities to sign up for the fall months. Contact Diane Dennison at Diane@stmikeschurch.com with any questions.
