Jessica,

Back to school season is here! It's an exciting and busy time for everyone.

While January 1st may symbolize fresh beginnings for some, September brings its own sense of renewal. For family child care educators, this means welcoming new children into your programs, helping older ones adjust to new schedules and providing support to families. We know that it is no small undertaking, so please remember that we are here for you if you seek advice, coaching, or an understanding ear.

In this week's newsletter you'll discover fall opportunities to learn, grow, share and advocate for family child care. We look forward to reconnecting, whether in person or online, as we embark on a year brimming with growth and memorable moments.

We extend our gratitude for all that you do, and here's to an incredible program year ahead!

Tell Congress

Stabilize Child Care Now!

At the end of September, emergency funding that supported the early care and education system during the pandemic will expire, threatening our fragile early childhood system. We need immediate action from Congress to prevent children from losing access to care, families from facing increased costs, and educators from losing wages and crucial business supports. Let's make our voices heard by reaching out to elected officials and sharing our stories.
