Memorial Day is Monday, May 27

Memorial Day weekend marks the first big weekend of summer, and what better way to kick off the season than with a visit to Louie's? Whether you're traveling through northwestern Wisconsin or simply looking for a delicious meal, we're here to serve you. Our doors will be open from 10 AM to 4 PM on Memorial Day, and our regular hours will be in effect for all other days. And if you're short on time, give us a call at 715-822-4728 to place an order and have it ready for pickup when you arrive. We can't wait to see you and help make your Memorial Day weekend one to remember!

Louie's Brat Haus is open!

Louie's Brat Haus will be open most Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through the Summer Months (open 10 AM to 5 PM). Louie's Brat Haus serves traditional brats, a flavored brat each week, hot dogs, chips, pop, and homemade desserts.

The Brat Haus is a fundraiser for a variety of local non-profit organizations - youth, school, church, community, and charitable.

Recipe: Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese

Indulge in a delicious twist on grilled cheese sandwiches by adding Louie's shredded pork. You can also create your own pulled pork using a smoker and use the leftovers to make these flavorful sandwiches. Enjoy the savory combination of gooey cheese and tender pork for a satisfying meal. 

Ingredients for 4 sandwiches

8 slices of bread

2 cups pulled pork, warmed

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Directions

• Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
• Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place a slice of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet.
• Layer shredded cheese on the bread slice, followed by a generous portion of warmed pulled pork.
• Drizzle barbecue sauce over the pulled pork.
• Top with another slice of bread, buttered side facing up.
• Cook until the bottom is golden brown and the cheese is melted, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
• Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make more sandwiches.
• Serve hot and enjoy!
