A Taste of Mimouna at the Miami Beach JCC
On April 3rd, the Miami Beach JCC hosted a vibrant celebration of Mimouna, traditionally marking the end of Passover. While the holiday is usually celebrated at the conclusion of Passover, we wanted to give our community an early taste of this joyous Moroccan tradition. Guests enjoyed live Moroccan music, henna tattoos, authentic beverages, and delicious moufleta pancakes. The event also featured bakers Ariel Pollack-Star and Betty Ben Shimon from Yerucham’s “Lehem Zeh Bakery,” who shared their stories with the community
This celebration was made possible thanks to the Greater Miami Jewish Federation Partnership City Grant, along with support from the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, the City of Miami Beach, Temple Moses, Temple Beth Sholom, the Sephardic American Mizrahi Initiative, and the Women’s International Zionist Organization.
