  • 24-0510: A Proclamation Opposing HB24-1447 As Introduced in the Colorado State Legislature.  


  • 24-0546: A Proclamation Honoring Earth Day. 


 One proclamation at the 5:30 p.m. session: 


  • 24-0547: A Proclamation Declaring April 22nd - April 26th, 2024, to be National Youth Violence Prevention Week in the City and County of Denver. 


One public hearing at the 5:30 p.m. session: 


  • 24-0262: Community Planning and Development will present an ordinance changing the zoning classification for 4100 East Arkansas Avenue and 1451 South Ash Street in Virginia Village.

  • 24-0541 [presented with 24-0542]: The Department of Finance will present an ordinance amending certain Denver Revised Municipal Code provisions regarding the Gateway Development Impact Fee in Council District 11. This item and item 24-0542 will have a combined 15 minutes of public comment. 


  • 24-0542 [presented with 24-0541]: The Department of Finance will present a transfer of funds and subsequent appropriation of $1,129,000 from the Gateway Impact Fee Trust Funds to the Capital Improvement Fund for Gateway Regional Infrastructure for the construction of a fire station, in Council District 11. This item and item 24-0541 will have a combined 15 minutes of public comment. 


  • 24-0550: The lobbying firm, Policy Matters, will present a state legislation and budget update.

  • 4-0543: Denver Human Services will present a contract with ViVe for $1,369,504 and a contract term through 12/31/2024 to provide case management services for newcomer families and individuals, including rental/deposit assistance, onward travel, and other supportive services.

  • 24-0544: Denver Economic Development and Opportunity will present a contract with Centro Humanitario Para Los Trabajadores for $2,250,000 with an end term of 6/30/2025 to administer WorkReady Denver to build a pipeline of talent into jobs that are experiencing significant labor shortages by providing individuals who are on a path to work authorization access to education, training, and employment opportunities.
