Book Group for September
We will be meeting Thursday, September 7 at 6:00 PM, in Henslee Hall.
The book we are reading is Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano. This remarkable story is about a 12-year-old boy named Edward, who miraculously survives a plane crash that takes the lives of all other passengers, including his entire family. After this heartbreaking
ordeal, he has to find the resilience to create a new life for himself.
The book for October, Coroner's Dance has been written by one of our parishioners, Dr. Greg Phelps. He will be attending the meeting, and we are having a potluck dinner to celebrate this special occasion.
-
November: He Called Me Sister by Suzanne Craig Robinson (subject to review - this may change)
-
December: I Am, I Am, Am by Maggie O'Farrell
-
January: Passengers by Thomas Foxworth (brother of member Merry Foxworth) and Michael Laurence.
Please bring what you'd like to eat and drink to the meeting. New members are always welcome, even if they don't attend Good Sam! If you have any questions, please call Kathy Gray at 423-379-0091 or email [email protected].
