A Message From Your Grand Knight | |
Hello Brothers,
Please join us at our next business meeting on:
Thursday, August 10
8 PM
At Thursday's meeting, we plan to review the 2023-24 budget and choose a date for our Officer Installation ceremony and reception. A brother knight also has a new initiative that he would like to propose to you all. Our Worthy Deputy Grand Knight Ray will be leading the charge at this month's meeting as I'll be away next week (but with you all in spirit!).
Please consider lending your time on Saturday, August 12 before and/or after the 5:30 Mass at St. Joseph's. Our fellow parishioners planning and managing this year's Spanish Food Festival are in need of volunteers to sell tickets at that particular Mass and requesting assistance. If you're able to help out, please let me know.

Homily: Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
The Church has been established by Jesus Christ Himself. And yet, the Church has sinners and sin within Her own ranks. The enemy of God and humanity has done this. We need to be aware of sin in the Church and sin in our own hearts. If we stay awake and alert, we can guard against sin in the Church and in our lives.
