Fathers often feel like their role as a parent is to make the world perfect for their children. And children often feel their fathers demand they perfectly prepare for the world and every eventuality it might bring. Fatherhood, from either end, can feel like an extended, unrelenting control. Is it possible to plan for the future without sacrificing our presence? To strive for perfection and accept what is? It must be possible to be a father, or the child of a father, who does not oblige or impose, yet emphatically, actively, and plainly hopes.
Join us for worship in person in the Sanctuary, or online. The livestream link and order of service will be shared at bit.ly/FUUSBWorship, or visit our YouTube channel.
Following the service, all are welcome to Coffee Hour, either outside in front of the Meeting House or in the Community Room, depending on weather.
While at the Meeting House, anyone is welcome to wear a mask. In the spirit of caring for each other, please stay home if you have any cold or flu symptoms. Thank you.

From VIA: Have You Called the Governor Yet?
Vermont Interfaith Action is organizing to keep up the pressure on the Governor and his administration as 2,800 Vermonters are being evicted from temporary shelter in motels with nowhere to go. It only takes a few moments to:
Call the Governor at (802) 828-3333 with this message:
"It is unacceptable that 2,800 Vermonters are being pushed out of state emergency housing into our local communities when you had years to develop a better plan. These folks need a roof over their heads, not advice. Take concrete action by declaring a state of emergency to mobilize all available resources."
