Member spotlight: Ruth and Jerry Hazeltine

It is with heavy hearts we share that Anita Warren died on July 31, 2023.

The funeral service for Anita will be held Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Emanuel with Rev. Gaye Santoro officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial to follow the funeral at Emanuel Church Cemetery with lunch afterwards in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emanuel Church Scholarship Fund.

Our prayers are with Bud and their entire family.

A big thank you for all the donations for Doylestown Clothe-A-Kid. We collected $405.58 to help low income families in the Chippewa Schools purchase clothing and school supplies for the upcoming school year.

We will need some easy-up tents to help put tables under cover. If any congregation members have an easy-up (pop-up) tent that the church can use September 14-16, please email or call the church. We have lots of items for the sale in the church basement. We will need lots of help on Thursday, September 14 to set up the sale. We will start at 2PM, and we need people and a pickup truck to bring things up from the basement and set them on tables. Please contact the office if you have a tent we can borrow.

Dear Emanuel UCC,

I would like to say a big thank you for the scholarship as well as gift card that you all have given me. I greatly appreciate it. Thank you for always supporting me and being so welcoming all these years. I am blessed to know you all and thank you for teaching me about God, faith, and kindness. It is something I greatly value and can not thank you all enough. I know He has a plan for me and I trust it fully for the coming big year ahead.
