May has arrived and has brought the promise of a lovely summer...at least the hint of a lovely summer!!  Here at the library we are looking forward to some wonderful programs including some Mystery authors and some exciting children's programs.  Watch for a Classical music concert for the middle of the month.  One of our favorite times of the year is the annual Methuen Public Schools All District Art Show presenting artwork by students of all the Methuen schools including some award winners from MHS.  Come to visit the library and be amazed at the works these talented young people have made.
The library is always so festive during this time of multiple celebrartions and graduations.  And as always, don't forget Mom!!

See you in May

Methuen All District Art Show -- Come see some Wonderful Art produced by Methuen students of all ages!!

Once again this year the Nevins Library is proud to host the Methuen Public Schools All-District Art Show.  The Library will be filled with the creative artwork that the children of our community have been working on since September. Each of the Grammar Schools will take over a section of the Library and decorate it with drawings, paintings, sculpture, ceramics, and other media.  The work of talented students from Methuen High School will be on display in the Hall.  If you have never been to see the Library during this show, please don't miss it this year!  The colorful, ingenious and exciting work on display transforms our library into a totally different place.  The Art Show opens on Saturday May 3rd and will be on display during Library hours until Saturday May 10th.  Thanks to Mr. Tom Walters, Director of Fine Arts for the Methuen Public Schools, and all of the Methuen Public School Art Teachers who work so hard to bring this show to us.
