Jewish Non-Fiction Book Club

In this book, Nobel Laureate Saul Bellow writes about his stay in Israel in 1975. He travels extensively throughout the country. He meets with a wide array of people, from Amos Oz to Yitzak Rabin. His memoir is an exploration of what it means to be Jewish in the 20th Century.

American Cancer Society - Relay for Life: Jews for a Cure

Saturday – Sunday, July 29-30



Campbell Community Center 

We all know people who have suffered from cancer. Help keep new treatments coming and the research for a cure by joining the Tikkun Olam committee in supporting the Silicon Valley Jewish team "Jews for a Cure" in the Relay For Life at the Campbell Community Center track.  You can choose to join the Jewish team in the relay, support financially, or come for Havdalah! For more information, to join the team, or support financially click HERE


J Leaders Academy

Are you a young Jewish adult looking to become a more impactful leader? Are you eager to build a network of like-minded peers? Would you like to tap into a network of talented and experienced Jewish leaders? If you answered yes to any of these questions and you are between 25-39 yrs old, then you are a candidate for the upcoming J leaders Academy. The Academy is a 6-month blended learning program that includes 2 weekend retreats, 8 Zoom sessions, Shabbat dinners, and more. The Academy features world-class presenters and kicks-off in late October 2023. Holocaust/Tolerance Education Exhibit at Temple Emanu-El - Free Museum

NOW OPEN INDEFINITELY!


We are excited to announce that the CHAIM exhibit now a temporary home at Temple Emanu-El.


The purpose of CHAIM is to teach about tolerance and empathy through the lens of the Holocaust. The CHAIM exhibit is appropriate for Jewish kids 5th grade and up, and non-Jews kids 7th and up. This is an important topic for our times.
