SEVEN BENEFITS OF ADORATION

Psalm 103:1-5 (NKJV). Verses 1-2, “Bless the LORD” (“bless Yahweh”), O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name….and forget not all His benefits.”

The Hebrew word “bless” means to kneel as an act of adoration; To adore Him for His name is holy. In return for our adoration, He gives us many benefits as our Good Father. Verses 3-5 lists the following seven benefits. (Seven is the perfect number of God.)

1. "He “forgives all your iniquities.” The Hebrew Word for iniquity is “avon” which means “perversity, or “moral evil” (immorality or perverseness). It can also mean “faults” or “mischief.”

2.  He “heals all your diseases.” Jesus is “the Great Physician.” He made us, so he knows best how to fix us.

3. He “redeems your life from destruction.” The word “destruction” in Hebrew is “shachath”, which means a “pit.” The Pit was for Satan and his demons. Essentially, it means He redeems our soul from being hell-bound. It can also mean “grave, ditch, or corruption.”

4. He "crowns you with lovingkindness.” All of his blessings are available to us.

5. He "crowns us with “tender mercies,” meaning compassion, or tender love, or great mercy. It also means “the womb, as in cherishing the (fetus) unborn child.”

6. He "satisfies your mouth with (all that is) good.” Food, yes, but much more than that. He will fill your mouth with good words, good speaking as it flows from your heart of good righteousness. Critical or harmful words, or words of doubt or fear will not be heard from your “mouth of good things.”

7. He will "renew your youth (energy)." “Renew” means to rebuild, “like the eagle’s”. The eagle is a symbol of strength, energy, and endurance. (Isaiah 40:31)

When we “bless the LORD,” we reap the benefits of a loving Father and our Savior.

ISOLATION BRINGS REVELATION

Throughout the scriptures we see God dealing one on one with those that He has chosen to do His will.

We look at Moses. He was born into a Hebrew family but raised by Pharaoh’s daughter. He killed a man and ran from Egypt. Forty years later we see him on the back side of the desert. That is where God spoke to him, and later spent 40 days on Mt. Sinai where he met God face to face. For 40 days he communed with God, isolated from any other people. During that isolation God gave Him the Ten Commandments and the Levitical laws. That isolation brought revelation to him that changed him and Israel.

We look at David. Before he was king, he was isolated from his family, tending his father’s sheep. He heard the voice of God during this isolation, and God revealed himself to him. He sought after God with his whole heart, and because of this was anointed to be king. His isolation brought him the revelation of who God was, and many of the psalms were written because of this time alone with God. David knew that God was the source for everything in his life. Psalm 52 shows a repentant heart that loved God above everything else.

We look at the apostle Paul. He went from being a Pharisee to a murderer, but when he met the Lord on that Damascus Road, his life was changed forever. 1 Corinthians 11:23 says, “For I received of the Lord [by revelation] that which also I delivered unto you…” His isolation from all religious activity and tradition for three years gave him an intimate knowledge of Jesus Christ. These revelations given to him brought us most of the New Testament.

What can isolation do for you and me? Getting quiet with God will change your life. As you read the scriptures in a quiet place with no distractions you will receive not only the logos [written] word of God, but the Rhema [personal revelation] word for yourself. There is no substitute for a firsthand revelation from God. Once you have received it in that secret place you will hunger for more and more of it. 

Do you feel isolated from others? Do you feel alone and forgotten? Do not look at these times as being wasted. These isolation periods are not for our harm. They are to bring us into a closer relationship with the Lord than we have ever had. Be glad you have been given the gift of isolation to bring you a closer relationship with God.  

It worked for Moses, David, Paul, and others, and it will work for you too if you look at it as a gift from God. God wants a one-on-one relationship with you!

Do not be deceived! God will not be mocked. He has the final word and all that receive him not will be judged. This is the hour of shaking and quaking. There will be many things hidden that will be exposed, and there will be things unearthed that will bring great fear for those that are not walking in my full armor. For in the days ahead, have I not said that they would be as in the days of Noah? Those days were the days that men had evil thoughts continually. It is not a surprise that this is that day, because I have revealed it, and I have warned you that those days were coming. 

You will not find shelter in any other place than in me for your anchor and hope. Turn aside from all darkness and be cleansed from your disobedience and rebellion. For things are going to change rapidly for those that are not listening. Those that would not listen when the warning has been sounded will surely feel the full effects of what is to come. There will be no place to hide, for even the rocks and caves cannot protect them from exposure. 

There is a price to pay for total obedience my children. It may mean leaving behind those that you love, yet are not of me. It is a time of isolation and purification. For I give shelter to those that walk in my light, but those that refuse my light will see a darkness like they have never seen before. Just like Goshen had light while the rest of Egypt was dark, there is coming a darkness that cannot be stopped. Walk in my light and you will be able to stand during this time. Do not fear, for fear will breed more darkness. Shake off all fear and walk in my ways. I am bringing my body together, for it must happen before my return. You will see things change within the body of Christ like never before. There will be a joining together just as the dry bones were brought together and lived. Many that have been longing to see change shall see it with their eyes. There is a separation coming that will define those that are truly mine, and those that have said it in word only. Stand strong children, for these days are at hand saith the Lord.

Tuesday Thought For Today

We are broken and we need the mercy and grace that God has given to us. He never left us without hope. He sent Jesus to set us free!

God’s Grace- it pours down on us covering us and our sin. It is Gods gift to us.



I know I used this scripture last week but it is so good. Just remember:

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

Just try hard to never allow yourself to get DISTRACTED; While you are WAITING on God’s PLAN and PURPOSE for your life. However, you do need to keep in mind that a DISTRACTION can and usually will cause DISPLACEMENT; A DISPLACEMENT will cause DISAPPOINTMENT, DISAPPOINTMENT will cause DEPRESSION…And DEPRESSION will most likely cause the REAL you to totally DISAPPEAR. Just know that’s exactly what that ole devil wants; For he wants YOU and everything GOD created YOU to BE and DO to DISAPPEAR from your heart and life. It’s then my friend that you would completely MISS out on your DREAMS and your God planned DESTINY altogether. So don’t you get caught up with the enemy’s games and lose WHO and WHAT God called YOU to be and to do; But rather you stand your ground and have a great week full of God’s blessings and His peace.
