Why do we register voters? Because it's the most effective way to win elections. Did you know that in 2020 over 50% of youth voted, but 86% of registered youth voted? The act of registration turned these young voters into super-voters. Why do we do partisan registration? Because it works.

In the 2022 cycle our partisan outreach netted 80% blue or purple registrations (Democrat, independent and unaffiliated). Starting with 13.2 million records of unregistered likely Democrats we had the resources (volunteers and donations) to reach 5 million of them before the midterms. And 1.57 million registered after outreach via email, phone, text and postcard. That’s an eye-popping 1 in 3! Even better: 660,000 of them voted! And we turned an expected Red Wave into a Rosé Spritz, garnished with MAGA tears. Our cost per voter? 93¢. Our cost per vote? A staggeringly low $2.24.

So what’s the plan for 2024? Win. It. All. If we raise $3 million, we can deliver 3 million voters – and at least 2 million votes – where they are needed most. Simply put, we are doubling down on the proven techniques that worked so well in the 2022 cycle. We're targeting 11 battleground states (including 6 flippable districts each in CA and NY), and reaching out to unregistered likely Democrats via a panoply of touches, all with pro-Democrat, pro-democracy messages. That's how we'll pour the voters we need into the key elections that will win us the House, Senate, and White House. Voter registration is GOTV. And it’s the best bargain in activism.

REGISTER DEMOCRATS SUMMIT 2024 – THE SEQUEL!

Many moons ago (around 12, actually), we launched the Register Democrats Summit, a day-long virtual event built with one goal: to do everything in our power to defeat Trump and Team MAGA. Things went rather well. We turned back the Red Wave in the midterms, and so we're doing it all over again.

The stakes are higher this year with the White House on the line in addition to Congress. So like every great Hollywood sequel, we're going bigger and bolder for Round Two, loading up on all-star cameos and big-name guests. So far, our list of confirmed keynote speakers includes luminaries like Jess Craven (Chop Wood, Carry Water), Robert Hubbell (Today's Edition) and Leigh McGowan (Politics Girl)!
