God’s truth is evident not just in the pages of the Bible but in all of creation. As you look outside and see the beauty of summer, we all know it took winter and spring to get us here. Just as we experience different seasons of weather, we also experience different seasons of our spiritual journey. Winter can be long and dry, spring can be dreary but you begin to see the budding fruit of growth. And in summer you are able to experience the abundant fruit of a long winter season. I think we all live for summer (I know my wife does!) but we are able to truly enjoy the mountain top experiences of life only when we’ve first visited the valleys that lead there. Whatever season of life God has placed you in, my prayer is that you may be encouraged, uplifted, and blessed.
