CHILDREN AND YOUTH NEWS

Children’s Church will be held on March 30 and April 13. April 13 will be the last Children’s Church for this program season. We will continue to offer worship bags with activities and ways for children to follow along with the church service. 


Sunday, April 6 will be a First Sunday Children’s Service 10:30 am


Nursery will continue for ages K and under throughout the year.

Save the Date! July 15-19, EDUSC is offering a youth mission camp for 6th-12th grades. Information was sent via email to families with children ages 6th-12th grades. Please let Jerae know if you have a child interested in attending.


COMING UP HIGHLIGHTS

Lector/Intercessor Training: This Sun, Mar 30, 11:30-12:30 Please let Mother Suz know if you are interested in attending this training for reading the appointed scriptures and prayers in our worship services.


The funeral service for Mary Butler will take place Tues, Apr 1 at 3:30 pm at St. Paul's in Pendleton with the Committal immediately following in the churchyard. A reception will follow at Holy Trinity in the Parish Hall.


Lenten Soup Suppers continue on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm through Lent. Volunteers are needed to provide soup. Click here to sign up.


A service of Holy Eucharist will be held at Clemson Downs Wed, Apr 2 at 10:30 am.


The Tiger Brotherhood will resume the tradition of celebrating Founders' Day at St. Paul's at 3:00 on April 3 at St. Paul's. Otis Pickett, the University Historian at Clemson University will present a talk in honor of Anna Marie Calhoun Clemson and Thomas Green Clemson, titled "How We Tell Clemson's Story Now that the Will Is Home." All are welcome to attend.


Lura Forcum will host a potluck supper at her home (183 E. Queen St, Pendleton) following the 5 pm service at St. Paul's on Sunday, April 6. Bring a covered dish and gather for fellowship! You may contact Lura at (773) 505-2146 with questions or comments.


EDS Spring Flower Fundraiser: Pickup is April 9 for those who placed orders.

IN THE COMMUNITY

Leadership Clemson needs you and your generosity as we fundraise for an updated Learning Lab for Littlejohn Community Center. The new computers and technology would be used for student projects and tutorials, GED classes, college preparation, career development, and more. Please help us support this organization that has for decades served the youth of our community and helped to build up the common good. Click here to donate.

2025 World Missions Symposium: This Sat, Mar 29, 2025 9:00 am-2:00 pm, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Columbia This event will recognize and honor the diocese's partnership with the Central Plateau of Haiti as well as its work in Ecuador and Les Cayes in southwest Haiti. The $20 registration fee includes a light breakfast, lunch and snacks. Click here to register.

Easter Flower and Music Dedications. If you would like to donate toward Easter flowers and music, we invite you to do so. Flowers and/or music may be dedicated in memory or in honor of family, loved ones, and friends. You may complete the form in this Sunday's bulletin or click here for one. Instructions are provided on the form.

Ongoing Items

Clemson Community Care needs several food items: canned tomatoes, pork and beans, fruit, potatoes, crackers,

jelly, 2-lb bags of sugar, and cooking oil. Also, all toiletries including dish soap, detergent, paper towels, bathroom

tissue, and children's pull ups Sizes 4, 5, and 6. You may view and purchase needed items for direct delivery to CCC by clicking here.


St. Paul's Thrift Shop regular hours are Monday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and on every third Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, September through June. It is located at 314 East Queen Street, Pendleton, SC, next to the church. Looking forward to seeing you!
