Hello everyone,

Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes new opportunities for growth and success in the government marketplace! We're excited to continue supporting businesses across Arizona.

Over the past six weeks, Arizona APEX was fortunate enough to attend the Scale Your Business with SRP's Small Business Academy hosted at ASU's SkySong. During the Academy, small businesses learned about managing finances, meeting insurance requirements, boosting cybersecurity, scaling operations, and perfecting a pitch. The 6-week Academy culminated in a pitch competition with a prize of $20,000! We wish to congratulate Skunky's Junk Removal for winning and thank SRP and Arizona State University’s J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute (Edson E+I) for inviting us to attend as a resource for the business community.

As we continue to navigate our changing government landscape, we have decided to postpone our event, Unlocking Opportunities with Federal & Defense Agencies scheduled on April 9, 2025. Stay tuned for the new date!

Treasury Department Announces Suspension of Enforcement of Corporate Transparency Act Against U.S. Citizens and Domestic Reporting Companies

The Treasury Department is announcing today that, with respect to the Corporate Transparency Act, not only will it not enforce any penalties or fines associated with the beneficial ownership information reporting rule under the existing regulatory deadlines, but it will further not enforce any penalties or fines against U.S. citizens or domestic reporting companies or their beneficial owners after the forthcoming rule changes take effect either..

House passes bill requiring federal contractors to have vulnerability disclosure policies

A bill that would close a loophole in federal cybersecurity standards by requiring government contractors to abide by vulnerability disclosure policies moved one step closer to law Monday after sailing through the House.
