Observation
Greetings!

Last month on March 3-4 in Battambang, we had the opportunity to train 48 pastors with the God's Financial Principle seminar. In this seminar, we train them with what the Bible teaches about working hard, saving money, getting out of debt, becoming a generous giver, and honesty and integrity with God's money.
I asked a friend of mine, Manil and his team from Phnom Penh, to go with me and to teach them about gardening. Manil has a compost pile and uses this in his garden. So on the second day, he taught the pastors about gardening and how to make compost from kitchen scraps. He taught them about preparing the land and making compost. He taught them by doing it while they were watching.

Next month, we plan to do this again at Samouen's church and let them practice. This is one practical way that we can train them in having and maintaining their own garden. Samouen is doing this to teach his church members the importance of maintaining their own garden so that they can provide for their family.

Please pray that pastors will learn how to do this and church members will learn how to do this so that they will have more resources for their family and for the work of the Lord.

Training
CCI Cambodia provided a Family Conference on Bible and Money to a group of pastors and church leaders in Battambang province.
I visited and taught a class in Siem Reap at the New Life Church in Siem Reap. We enjoyed the fellowship and studying the Word together. This is more than a class, this is a relationship.
Prayer Requests & Praises
  • Pray for our teachers: for the wisdom to equip the saints for the work of ministry.

  • Our team maintains extensive follow-up with the students through phone calls, and visits to homes, often traveling long distances to minister to them. Please pray that many will grow in their faith and share the Gospel with others.

  • Pray for the country of Cambodia: it’s government, it’s leaders, it’s students, it’s future, and pray for the local churches that we work with to grow IN CHRIST.

  • Please continue to pray for Meas Sat as he travels twice per month to train a class in Tany, KamPot. Also, for Sitha as he teaches in the northern areas every month. Pray that the Lord will keep them safe in their travels to their destinations.

  • The staff of CCI Cambodia is looking forward to the Global Conference to be held in Thailand in November. Many would like to go, but do not have the money to buy plane tickets. Please pray for God’s provision for this. If you feel led to help, please click below. Thank you.
